【9.27】世界旅遊日：旅遊連接文化
Since 1980, the United Nations World Tourism Organization has celebrated World Tourism Day on September 27. This date was chosen as on that day in 1970, the Statutes of the UNWTO were adopted. The purpose of this day is to raise awareness on the role of tourism within the international community and to demonstrate how it affects social, cultural, political and economic values worldwide. This year’s theme is a celebration of tourism’s role in linking together the cultures of the world through travel.
自1980年起，世界旅遊組織將每年的9月27日定爲“世界旅遊日”。之所以選擇這個日期，是由於在1970年的這一天，國際官方旅遊聯盟（世界旅遊組織的前身）通過了將要成立的世界旅遊組織的章程。（小編注：此外，這一天又恰好是北半球的旅遊高峯剛過去，南半球的旅遊旺季剛到來的相互交接時間。）該節日的目的在於強調旅遊在國際社會交往中的重要角色，以及對世界範圍內社會、文化、政治以及經濟所起到的推動作用。今年旅遊日的主題是“旅遊連接文化”。
