黃金週(the Golden Week)是指連續7天的全國性假期。1999年，中國開始推行黃金週政策。從那以後，黃金週通過鼓勵人們旅遊和消費，豐富了人們的日常生活，促進了社會經濟的發展。然而不可否認，黃金週帶來的問題也日益明顯：交通擁堵、旅遊景點人滿爲患以及物價上漲。2012年，中國政府宣佈重大節假日期間全國高速公路免收通行費，其中就包括春節和國慶兩個7天假期，這一政策從某種程度上又導致了出行車輛和人數的增加。

Since then, the GoldenWeek has enriched people's daily life and promotedthe development of social economy by encouragingpeople to travel and spend. 1.“從那以後…社會經濟的發展”，主語是“黃金週”，後跟並列謂語“豐富了”和“促進了”，可譯爲has enrich andPromoted;“通過…的方式”直接用介詞短語by...更加簡潔。
2.第四句“然而不可否認，黃金週帶來的問題…”中的“不可否認”可使用句型there is no denying that... 來連接整個句子;“黃金週所帶來的”可使用句型詞短語作定語譯爲causedby the Golden Week修飾 “問題(the problems)”。

六級英語翻譯技巧
一、分句法
把原文中一個單詞或短語譯成句子.使原文的一個句子分譯成兩個或兩個以上的句子或乾脆把原文的一個句子拆開，譯成兩個或兩個以上的句子
如：八月中旬，修理組人員在驕陽下工作
譯: It was in mid-August, and the repair section operated under the blazing sun.(一個單句拆分成了一個並列複合句）.
二、合句法
把原文中兩個或以上的簡單句，主從複合句或並列複合句等譯成一個單句。
例：她已試了好幾次，要幫他們另找一所出租的房子，結果並未成功。
譯文:She had made several attempts to help them find other rental quarters without success.(多個簡單句合成一個單句）.
三、正譯法
就漢譯英而言，就是把句子按照與漢語相反的表達方式譯成英語。
例:我們強烈反對公司的新政策
譯: We strongly object the company's new policy.
四、反譯法
就漢譯英而言,就是把句子按照與漢語相反的表達方式譯成英語.
例：酒吧間只有五個顧客還沒有走
譯文:Only five consumers remained in the bar.
五、順序法
順序法翻譯不改變原文表達語序.不會影明對原文內容的理解.
例:即使在我們關掉牀頭燈甜甜地進入夢鄉時，電仍然爲我們工作:開動電冰箱，把水加熱或使室內空調機繼續運轉。
Even when we tum off the bedside lamp and are fast asleep, electricity is working for us, driving our refrigerators,heating our water,or keeping our rooms air-conditioned.
在句子中.句子前半部分是一個讓步狀語從句,後半句的“開動”，“加熱”，“使……運轉”都是“電在爲我們工作”的具體內容。因而在譯文中，譯者將這三個並行動作處理成了V-ing形式。
補充說明working的內容。譯文按照原句的語序完全傳達了原文的意思.採用順序法翻譯，達到了“精確，通順”的目的
