almost的用法：
almost是常用的程度副詞,基本意思是“幾乎,差不多”,強調差一點,缺一點。引申還可作“實際〔質〕上”“簡直”解。
almost可用於修飾動詞、形容詞、副詞、名詞、代詞、數詞或介詞等,有時還可用來代替全句。almost不能與not連用,但可與no, none, nobody, nothing, never等否定詞連用,表示“幾乎,差不多”。
爲了避免意義含混不清或者不合邏輯, almost常常緊接在它所修飾詞之前。修飾動詞時一般置於主要動詞之前,但要放在系動詞、助動詞和情態動詞之後。almost不能置於句末。
almost可用於同級比較。
almost無比較級和最高形形式,不可加very修飾。
almost位置不同,可能引起意義的改變。試比較以下兩句：
He almost wept every time he was scolded.每次受責罵時,他幾乎都要哭。(實際上他沒有哭過)He wept almost every time he was scolded.差不多每次受責罵時,他都要哭。
