say speak詞義用法辨析中文翻譯
say, speak這兩個詞都表示“說”、“講”的意思，但詞義和使用場合不同。
Say指用語言發表思想或說明一件事，它着重於所說的內容;speak不着重於所說的內容，而着重於說話的能力。例如某人能說幾國文字這個“說”字，在英語裏應用speak，不用say。此外，speak還有一人說，其他人聽的意味。
就詞性而言，say既可作動詞，又可作名詞。如：You have no say.(你沒有發言權)。 speak只能作動詞，不可作名詞。

請注意，當 speak用作不及物動詞，其後接介詞 of 時，它不作“說”解，而是表示“談論”之意。如：
Newspapers in this territory are speaking of the rise in unemployment. The spokesman of the Government said unemployment hit an 11-year high.
本地各報都在談論失業人數上升的問題。政府發言人稱，去年失業率已達十一年來的最高峯。
但當 speaking of放在句首時，它則表示“談到…”，“順便一提”或“至於”之意。如：
Speaking of how to tackle unemployment, the spokesman said the Government will announce new measures.
談到如何解決失業問題時，該發表人稱，政府將會公佈新的措施。
