dear all,

experience makes you succeedi still remembered the first time when i becamea technical secondary school teacher of english literature. it seemed that ithappened yesterday.

at that day, i got quite ready and i had the confidence to be a goodteacher. i arrived at the classroom, eager to share my knowledge and experiencewith all the students of my class. having prepared for two days, i had no doubtto hold their attention and to impress on them my admiration for theliterature.

“stand up!” the monitor spoke loudly. the entire class stood up as ientered the classroom. i was a little puzzled, but quickly that awkwardness wasover, i regained my calmness and began my well-prepared lecture, sure to gaintheir respect--- or even their admiration. ‘i’m your english, miss jiang. todaywe are going to learn . . . ’ i was very pleased with work . as the bell rang, iwent back to my office full of a sense of achievement. the following day when iread my students’ diaries, the rosy glow was gradually replaced by a strongsense of sadness. the first diary said, “our literature teacher didn’t teach usanything today. perhaps her next lecture would be better.” greatly surprised, iread diary after diary, each expressed a similar theme. “didn’t i teach themanything? i described the entire framework and laid the background for thepassage we would study in class,” i puzzled. “how should they say i taught themnothing?”

it was a long term, and it gradually became clear that my ideas abouteducation weren’t the same as those of my students. i thought a teacher’s jobwas to raise interesting questions and provide enough background so thatstudents could draw their own conclusions. my students thought a teacher’s jobwas to provide exact information as directly and clearly as possible. what adifference! i tell myself i can handle it.’ compared to what others have beenthrough , i’m fortunate. thinking of these sentences i felt something importantstruck me. i believe my life would not be that bad and it was proved to be r during my life and work i always told myself ‘i can handle it.’ when myown goals seemed far off or when my problems seemed too overwhelming. and everytime i said it, i always came back to my senses.

now the experience with my students has made me learn a lot, and made me bea better english teacher.

the following year, it was september 10th. i went to class as well. when istepped into the class, i felt surprised. there was a post card on the table, but i didn’t show it on my face. i began teaching lessons. after the class, iwalked out of the class with a card in my hand. i opened the card in the office,it was a music card with words on it. it said ‘many thanks to you, miss all love you we like your teaching.’ i was impressed by the words. how honestand simple the words were. hot tears couldn’t help dropping. at that time, i wasso proud of being an english teacher.

so here, coming to us are words that can give us strength. whatever you’regoing through, tell yourself you can handle it. tell this to yourself over andover, and it will help you get through the rough spots with little morefortitude.

belief in yourself is the secret of success

from the moment we are born, our destiny had been set. it is the start ofour life. as a little child, we go to school and are curious to everything inthe world.

when we get older, we tend to understand the function in this world.

we start to think, sometimes wonder about life. next thing we know, we aregrowing up. the world is changing, and our life is changing everyday.

right now, this particular moment in our life, we think again.

we have we done in our life?

are we successful?

are we rich?

are we happy? and flashbacks starts, the memories took charge of ourbrain.

we reflect to ourselves, we question ourselves.

why are we not successful?

why are we not rich?

why are we not happy?

then, we need to ask how.

how to be successful?

how to be rich?

how to be happy?

with the questions, we figure out the answers. one of the dominatingtechqniue to be successful is first start from yourself. believe in yourself. ifyou don't believe in what you can do, then who else?

if you don't care about yourself, then who else? trust your feelings, believe that you can do it. and as long as you hold that thought, nothing, nothing can stop you.

the successful future right ahead of you are led by a pathway calledbelief.

The classmate of everyone, teacher: hello! Today, I want to lecture on thetopic of "my ideal".

Each person, has a very different ideal. If a person has no ideal, justlike sailing on the sea ship didn't sail, so, a person's ideal is extremelyimportant.

I am very glad to stand here to give thier a short y my topic isthat the youth are the future of motherland

When preparing for the English speech contest, I simply want to search somearticles as the contents of my speech. I read a lot of articles, some from theuniversity professor, some from the famous host, some from the college students, and even from junior high school students. But after reading it, I gave up theidea, I even felt shameful. Today, the topic I want to talk about is a solemn andserious theme full of glory and pride, which is a common aspiration of all ourChinese. Every Chinese has his own dream of China, and of course, there is adream lingering in my heart only belongs to my own.

So what’s my Chinese dream ? Finally I will announce.

We had learned a lot of knowledge and understood a lot of truth in thebook. We had a basic concept to our country at that time. We know that ourcountry is full of sunshine , and we are the future of our country, and ourdreams are to be the hope of our motherland.

However,We don't know what time to start,We are grow up,Life became not thesame, though we don’t want to admit, it’s the truth that our mind and attitudeto our country is changing. Our society became full of deception, indifference, intrigue, pressure, corruption, sinister, and we became irritable and not calm, detest the world and its ways. Our country seems to have become in a disastrousstate too. A lot of young students who were nurtured by our motherland becameimpatient, let alone what are their dreams , what is the china dream ?

I was surprised ,when the old man fell down in the street,We are afraid tohelp him.I was disappointed ,when someone do good things were reported, manypeople think he was affectation, I was sad, when I saw many of young peoplebecome indifferent ,fraud and lack of ideal.

Are we sick, or is our dear motherland sick?

I don't want to talk about the construction of our country politics, andalso speak impassioned speech on the Diaoyu Island event .I just want to appealyoung people, showing the side of youth, good and must learn toorganize our own thoughts, correct our own concept, and change our direction tothe right side in future life. China dream actually lies in our younggeneration, especially of the intellectuals.

Perhaps the strength of a person is small, but when his or her fate isconnected with the motherland, he or she will be hero or heroine. Perhaps adream is tiny, but when it becomes the dream of a country, it becomesinestimable. Perhaps I cannot change our country by my own, but if thousands andthousands of young people struggle for the dream together, our motherland isenough to make the world shock.

I dream to construct our beauty China with millions of young people whohave the same dream. We do it without exaggeration but only withpersistence.

That is my speech,thanks everyone.
