Good environment can make people feel happy and fit . To improve theenvironment means to improve our life.
We should plant more trees and flowers around us . We shouldn’t cut themdown . We should stop factories from pouring waste water into the river andwaste gas into the air.
Whenever we see litter on the ground , we should pick it up and throw itinto dusbins. Never spit in public. Don’t draw on public walls. It’s our duty toprotect the environment.

Right now I am talking about fighting forrespect to our gh the environment doesn't have a mouth todeprecate what humans have done to her, she retaliates through action. In theearly years the Chinese cut down large quantities of trees, at the source of theyellow river, which led to the disappearance of big forests and terrible a result, the Huangtu plateau which was once covered with grass and forestswas turned into barrens that supported fewer plants. Another example was inseveral developed countries. Because many chemical factories dischargedpoisonous gas without filtering it, cities were covered with so much poisonousgas that people were killed by the air they breathed in. What horriblescene!What we are suffering is only a small part of what the nature oncesuffered. If we don't take action to show respect to the environment.
Measures should be taken to protect the environment on which we arerelying. First governments should forbid destroying vegetation, rivers andlakes, oceans, as and the atmosphere as well. Second voices should be made toannounce the public of the importance of protecting the environment. Thirdenterprises should pay special attention to the effect they have on theenvironment and work out solutions for the problems.
Only by changing the way we treat the environment can we get along wellwith it. Only by saving the environment can we save ourselves.

Once man did not have to think about the protection of his environment。There were few people on the earth， and natural resources seemed to beunlimited。Today things are different。 The world has bee too crowded。 We areusing up our natural resources，and polluting our environment with dangerouschemicals。 If we continue to do this， human life on earth will not survive。 Werealize that if too many fish are taken from the sea， there will soon be noneleft。 Yet，with modern fishing methods， more and more fish are caught。We knowthat if too many trees are cut down， forests will disappear。 Yet， we continue touse powerful machines to cut down more and more trees。 We see that if rivers arepolluted with waste products， we will die。 Yet， waste products are still putinto rivers。
過去，人們不必擔心保護環境的問題。因爲那時地球上人口稀少，自然資源似乎取之不盡。如今，一切都改變了。世界變得擁擠異常。我們正在耗盡我們的自然資源，有毒化學制品的使用也正污染着環境。如果我們繼續這樣下去，地球上的生命將不復存在。我們都明白如果從海里捕捉太多的魚，海里就不會再有魚了。可是，現代化的捕魚技術使得捕魚量越來越大。我們都明白如果砍伐太多的樹木，森林就會消失。可是，我們仍舊使用強大的機械砍伐越來越多的樹木。我們都明白如果河水被廢棄物污染的話，我們僅有死路一條。可是廢棄物仍然源源不斷地進入河裏。
We know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate， in afew years， there won't be enough food。What can we do to solve these problems?Ifwe eat more vegetables and less meat， there will be more food available。 Landfor crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are kept。Ournatural resources will last longer if we learn to recycie them。The worldpopulation will not rise so quickly if people use modern methods of birthcontrol。
我們明白，人口繼續照此刻這個速度增長的話，不出幾年，就會發生食物短缺。我們該如何解決這些問題呢?如果我們多吃蔬菜，少吃肉類的話，我們就會有更多的食物。因爲同樣大小的土地如果種莊稼的話會比養殖動物多養活五倍多的人。如果我們學會再利用的話，自然資源就能持續更久。如果人們使用現代化的生育控制方法，世界人口就不會增長如此迅猛。
Finally， if we educate people to think about the problems we shall have abetter and cleaner planet in the future。
最終，如果我們能夠教育人們都意識到這些問題的話，未來我們就會有一個更好、更潔淨的星球。
