1992–1995
Cara Dillon十四歲時在Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann贏得“全愛爾蘭歌唱大獎賽”
1992年她和學校朋友Murrough，Ruardhrai O'Kane組建了Oige(愛爾蘭語意爲“青春”)樂隊。Dillon和Oige樂隊錄製了兩張專輯：一張錄音室版和一張現場版專輯。
1995–2000
1995年Dillon在接受民謠樂隊Equation的邀請，離開Oige了，取代Kate Rusby的位置。
