“我請客”在英語口語裏能怎麼説?
標準口語:I'll pay the bill.
地道口語應該是什麼呢?來看一下例子:
A: Here’s my money for the ice cream.
B: No. It’s my treat.(My treat)
It’s on me.
I’ll buy you.a lunch (a drink; a dinner). 我請客。
treat可以作動詞。
I want to treat you.
(我請你。)
Let me foot the bill.
(讓我付帳。)
看來這裏的foot真是和“英尺”、“腳”沒有任何關係了,在老外的口頭語中,foot可以做動詞,表示“支付帳單或費用”。

I am going to have a test. Knock on wood.我等一下有考試,老天保佑。
在美國人的習慣裏,敲木頭代表祈求好運。
Cross my fingers.
I didn't get a ticket last year. Cross my fingers.
