at的用法：
in與at的比較：用於地方時，at指較小的地方，如指城鎮時，in指較大的地方，用於省、國家、大陸前。國際大都市前用at 和in都有，但在London前通常用in。在指説話人的住處時要用in，且一般in表示實在的存在，而at卻不是。説到某大城市的某大建築物，往往在大城市名稱的前面用at，如the Pantheon at Rome。説到商店、機關、學校等，假使看作一個地點(point)用at。假使看作一個場所(place)用in，the barber's (理髮店)，Green's (Green所開的店)等前面只用at，不用in。説到門牌用at，如live at 1184 Zhongshan Road，路名前面該用in，而説“在……路口”用at;
用於時間時，可表示時刻，如at night，at three o'clock，at dawn，at any time等。也可表示較短的時期，如at night，at the beginning of the month等，其中at night表示時刻時意為“在薄暮”，表示較短的時期時意為"在夜裏"，通常指黃昏或上半夜;
at用於信封地址前可指“轉交”。
