Sandra同學提問，如何用英語表達“暫時”，有一個英語片語: For the time being，如：
I couldn't afford an apartment for the time being, I'm unemployed. 我暫時買不起一套公寓，我還沒找到工作。
You have a good rest for the time being, and don't consider anything. 你暫時好好休息一下，什麼都別想。
Jenny got laid off for the time being. 珍妮暫時下崗了。
 下面，介紹一個很好的句型：What if...， 表示“要是......又怎樣”，如：
What if it rains, we'd better have a backup plan. 如果下雨該怎麼辦呢, 我們最好還是有個後備方案。
What if he refuses us, I'm really afraid of being rejected. 如果他拒絕我們該怎麼辦呢, 我真的害怕被拒絕。
What if nobody signs up for this contest, only you and me. 如果沒有人報名參加這次比賽該怎麼辦呢, 就我們兩人蔘加。
What if you change your idea, I would become the victim. 如果你改變主意該怎麼辦呢, 這樣，我會成為犧牲品。
What if you fail? You'd better be well prepared for it. 如果你失敗了該怎麼辦呢？你最好還是作好準備工作。
