Let’s Do Something to save Our Environment

We all live on the earth. The earth is our home. We have only one earth. We must take care of it. It gives us the best environment. If we harm it, it will be angry. And then we will have a terrible end. There are three problems in our earth, they are pollution, disaster and illness.

It’s our duty to protect our environment. So we must plant more trees, protect the flowers and the trees, save energy, reduce the pollution. We should ask our government to control the pollution from the factories.

Protecting the nature is very important. It’s our duty to keep our environment clean and tidy.

If everyone makes a contribution to protecting the environment, the earth will become much more beautiful.

It is now common knowledge that the College Entrance Examination is held on June 6 and 7 annually, as a national policy , during which，seven different subjects are tested depending on what you learn, science or art.

For me, Chinese, Math, English, Politics, History and Geography are included. Due to its great importance, every student in China would do his best to get ready for it, and I am no exception.

I spent a whole year reviewing all the subjects carefully until I thought I was fully prepared. Eventually, the day came. Nervous at first, but I did give the best form I could have (am now in the best form I have had) in years.

I am a student from Xihua Middle School in

Chongqing,China. Hearing the activity, I am excited and was so ready to fill in the application form. Being a child growing up on the

countryside, I have spent plenty of my time playing in the nearby forest, which makes me extremely close to the nature and care for the animals. Unfortunately, during the past few years, great changes have taken place in many forests all round the world. We have witnesses lots of trees cut down and many animals hunted or homeless.

If I have the honor to have the chance to speak for a kind of animal, I would like to speak for the elephants. As we all know, elephants have big and strong bodies but they are badly hunted for their valuable teeth. The number of elephants is getting smaller and smaller day by day and it's high time for us to do something for them. Please do consider my application not for me but for the poorelephants.
