Actually, there are quite a lot of popular leisure activities people would like to do near the sea, such as strolling along the beach, writing characters or drawing pictures on the sand, or just playing beach volleyball with a bunch of playmates. There's something I would like to do when I am at the beach in my hometown - is definitely digging into sand for shellfish such asclams.
Lucky for me I grew up near the sea. When I was little, I could go there everyday with my playmates, doing all kinds of fun things. It was more like a large playground for us.
Digging into sand is my favorite seaside activity，and it is a very relaxing activity andminimal thinking is required. All you need to do is keep digging slowly and gently. If you dig them with great strength, you would probably end up with lots of smashed shells. Each time I can bring home a little bucket of clams.
Digging into sand doesn't necessarily mean that I am very patient. I just love to spend hours doing things I like. And I bet few people wouldn't love digging clams as it is so easy and fulfilling. You can imagine how happy I am carrying so many clams home before sunset. Because of me, my family would have one more palatable dish on the table.

I like to try sunbathing near the sea! You know, all or most Chinese girls like to have white skin, just take the Snow White as the example; they all would like to have flawless, silky and niveous skin! However, the permanent tan is also unique and beautiful, right? I’ve searched for much information about the sunbathing. I find out that there’s much to prepare before sunbathing. First of all, you have to choose a clean, flat and dry place for your sunbathing, green zone is a better choice since you have to avoid over exposure to radiation or poisoning. Secondly, you need to fully use sunscreen lotion to avoid sunburns. Here’s a key point: you need to make sure your each inch of skin has a uniform absorption to the sunscreen lotion. You won’t want to be sunbathed like a spotted dog, right? Certainly, for vulnerable parts of your body, you could use more. The third one, you should have a clear sequence of your sunbathing, first stomach, then your back… something like that.
I like to try sunbathing because I think there’s no fixed standard of what beauty is. For the skin color, bronzed skin is also very healthy and attractive. Moreover, it’s a great way to cure some illness but tan is just a by-product. I feel that we should exploit the natural resources as much as possible to enjoy the gifts from nature—to make things easy. There may be best solutions to some mysteries that have puzzled people over several centuries. For example, some illness could be efficiently cured by sunbathing here. By the way, don’t forget to be friendly to the environment.

Ok, well I'd say the activity I probably like most when I'm on the beach is…

Unfortunately, I don't (really) get that much of a chance to(我沒有那麼多機會) play it, because I live quite far from the coast.
…so I only get the chance to play/do it when I'm on holiday, which is probably only about once or twice a year (or something左右).
It would be nice to do it more often, but what with work and everything(但由於工作和種.種原因), it's just not possible.
(But anyway), as for who I play it with, well what normally happens is that I start playing with a few of myfriends who are with me on holiday, and then other people at the beach see us and ask if they can join (in).
Or it's the other way round, you know, I'll see people playing and ask to join (in).
The reason I enjoy it so much is that it's just so fun, especially jumping around in the sand,
…what (also) makes it fun is that It's something that I normally don't get the chance to do.
The other cool thing about it is that you can dive for the ball (魚躍救球) and land softly in the sand, whereas而 if you tried doing that on a hard surface like concrete 混凝土, it would be extremely painful, as you can imagine! (就像你可以想象的!)
It's also really good exercise, 這是很好的鍛鍊
and I always feel (absolutely) exhausted 累死了after playing it.
It's also a good way to make friends, because as I mentioned just now, I often end up playing with other people on the beach……and afterwards we might hang out for a bit……

1: Background: I would like to give you a short presentation on a seaside city called Yantai. As a matter of fact, I have only been there once but it gave me deep impression on that place for the reason that we had most enjoyable activities there on the beach.
2: Time, place and People: It was last summer that I went to Yan Tai with my friends. You know, when we were preparing for the trip we were so excited and looking forward for it. Finally, we took a train to get there and it is really an awesome city where you can enjoy pretty views as well as all sorts of fruits like grapes, apples and even fig fruits.
3: Activities: On top of this, the next day after we got there, we went to the seaside. I clearly remember that it was a sunny day and the beach was so attractive that we jumped into the sea water immediately. You know, as I took my tent with me, so we set up the tent and had a picnic inside. And we took a lot of tasty snacks for picnic on the beach. Not only did we enjoy the picnic, sunshine and relaxing time, but we also talked a lot about amusing stories. Besides, we even played a game together called police and killer which is very funny.
4: Significance and feelings: Well, it was really a fantastic time for me to be with my friends on the beach. You know, I was really fond of this trip for the reason that it is a great opportunity for me to be with my friends and to get relaxed and unwind. What’s more, it is also a good way to release my pressure. All in all, it was a perfect trip on the seaside and I think I will be there again. That’s pretty much about my talk I want to share with you, thank you.
