應聘者接到一個電話後要求面試官離開自己的辦公室，因爲那是一次"私人"談話。

應聘者告訴面試官這份工作自己做不長，因爲他認爲在叔叔去世後也許能繼承一筆遺產--他的叔叔"看上去不算太好"。

應聘者問面試官能不能稍後送他/她回家。

應聘者稱自己無法提供寫作樣稿，因爲所有的寫作都給了中央情報局(CIA)而且它們都屬於"機密"件。

應聘者告訴面試官上次解僱的原因是揍了那位僱主。
6• An applicant said she was a "people person" not a "numbers person" -- in her interview for an accounting position.
應聘者說她是"和人打交道"而不是"和數字打交道"的人--可她面試的職位是會計。
