BEC中級口語考試的評分標準
在BEC中級口語考試中，每個考生的表現會被單獨評分。參與對話的考官對於考生的表現會做全面的評估。不參與對話的考官對於考生的四項表現：語法和詞彙，話語組織，發音和互動溝通能力進行單獨評分。
語法和詞彙
指的是對語法和詞彙形式恰當運用的範圍和準確性。BEC中級測試，需要一定程度的語法和詞彙量。這一水平的考生應該相當準確並使用足夠的適當詞彙表達自己的意圖。
話語組織
指每位考生個人談話是否連貫，長度是否合適，是否切題。話語應足以符合BEC中級水平的要求。由於時間有限，有時候考生的談話可能長度不當。
發音
指考生髮出讓人理解的聲音的能力。在BEC中級水平，要求通過恰當使用重讀、節奏、語調和清楚的單個發音來表達意思。儘管聽者偶爾可能聽起來費力。
互動溝通
指考生在談話過程中積極參與的能力。在BEC中級，考生應該對輪流說話反應靈敏，並通過恰當地提問和回答使談話能持續進行。有時會有停頓，需要聽話者有耐心。
BEC備考答疑:無搭檔如何練口語
BEC口語考試的第三部分爲協作任務，需要2位或3爲考生根據現場提供的一個商務主題進行討論。應此考生需要組對和搭檔一起參加考試。當然鑑於BEC考試的特點，建議大家在備考時就尋找練習搭檔進行練習，可是如果因爲各種原因沒能找到練習搭檔的話。大家也不必灰心，還是有很多行之有效的方法，進行練習的。更何況BEC考試三個題型中，有兩個是需要獨立完成的。只要手裏有考試題目就可以進行練習，建議大家準備一個錄音機或是其他錄音設備，再做好計時就可以開始了。這樣做一方面是儘量模擬考試的實際場景，更重要的是錄音後，你講過的內容可以和樣板答案進行對比，方便找出自己的不足。
口試的三部分儘管主要測試考生的語言交互能力，也不是沒獨自練習的方法。因爲此部分除了看考生能否引導和參與討論外，還主要考查清楚說明自己的觀點、態度或建議的能力。而這些能力完全可以按照上面提到的方法獨自進行練習，另外多背些銜接功能的句型和短語將非常有用，注意在表達自己觀點建議的同時，適時邀請對方對自己的提議進行反饋並學會自然過度到下一個議題等。
