1. 一句話的第一個單詞首字母要大寫。
如：She is my sister.
2. 表示稱呼或職務的詞首字母大寫，人名要大寫。
如：Ms. Wang is Prof. Zhao's sister.
3. 大部分的縮寫都需要大寫。
如：I've lost my ID card.
4. I和OK無論何時何地都需要大寫。
如：I'm OK with your idea.
5. 專有名詞(如國家、地方和人名等等)的首字母大寫。
如：I know Jack lives in Shanghai, China.
6. 將親戚作爲稱呼語時首字母大寫。
