1、主謂關係中人稱和數量不一致性

漢語的動詞不受主語的人稱和數的影響,但英語的謂語動詞要和主語保持一致,謂語動詞要隨着主語而變化。而學生主要用漢語思維,因此他們往往沒有習慣去考慮主語是第幾人稱,是單數還是複數。例如:

a. A number of students is going to learn a foreign language.

b. He go to school by bike every day.

分析:

a句中a number of +複數名詞做主語時,其謂語動詞用複數形式。b中 He是第三人稱單數,在一般現在時態中謂語動詞go應該加es。

2、時態

高中生在寫作中經常在時態方面犯錯誤。英語時態種類繁多,動詞的構成形式隨着時態的變化而變化。中文裏沒有時態區分。動作或動詞的時間由跟在動詞後的諸如“着”、“了”、“過”等副詞來表示,對高中生來說,掌握英語的時態不是很容易。實際上,學習者在頭腦裏很清楚語法規則,但經常混淆或忘記改變動詞的詞形。例如:

a. A baby can cry as soon as it was born.

b. I spend 50 yuan buying the clothes.

c. I will not come here if it will rain tomorrow.

正確的句子:

a. A baby can cry as soon as it is born.

b. I spent 50 yuan buying the clothes.

c. I will not come here if it rains tomorrow.

分析:

第一句是一個常識問題,應該用一般現在時態。第二句“我買這件衣服花了50元”應該是過去時態。第三句主句是一般將來時,從句是一般現在時態。

3、語態錯誤

動詞的被動式在英語中比比皆是,學生由於漢語思維的影響,很少考慮到用被動語態。雖然中文裏也有被動式的含義,但與英語裏被動式表達方式完全不同。英語裏的被動式要求有助動詞be和一個變異的過去分詞形式,其中這個助動詞帶有時態和人稱數量信息,中文裏需要使用諸如“被”、“使”、“讓”等詞語,不需要有不規則的動詞形式。這對中國的學習者來說就有潛在的困難。例如:

a. New bicycles must keep inside.

b. The book has to return at the end of the week.

c. The food has cooked.

d. Knife should take away from babies.

正確的句子:

a. New bicycles must be kept inside.

b. The book has to be returned at the end of the week.

c. The food has been cooked.

d. Knives should be taken away from babies.

很明顯,這些句法結構己經被確認爲未能正確使用英語中的被動式。學生還會犯一些其它方面的錯誤,其中之一是,常常把英語裏沒有被動語態的詞(組),如 takeplace, occur, happen, belong to,appear, break out, rise, die等用作被動語態。

4、固定搭配

錯誤有介詞短語的搭配,固定詞組的搭配,更多的是特殊動詞的搭配和用法出現錯誤最多。很多學習者在記單詞的時候,不記搭配和真正用法,錯誤如下:

a. He suggested to go there on his bike.

b. My teacher explained me the text very carefully.

c. My mother made me to choose the one I liked best.

正確的句子:

a. He suggested going there on his bike.

b. My teacher explained to me the text very carefully.

c. My mother made me choose the one I liked best.

據以上的分析,中國學習者的英語應用很大程度上受到其母語的影響,直接翻譯,沒有記住這些動詞的特殊用法。

5、非謂語動詞

錯誤由於學生對非謂語動詞的概念不清楚,對不定式、分詞、動名詞的用法不明白,對句子結構分析不正確,常把非謂語動詞誤用作謂語動詞。學生不知道在英語句子中謂語動詞只能有一個,如果有另外一個動詞出現,這個動詞有三種情況:一是並列謂語,但是這時候必須有連詞,如and,but等;二是出現在從句裏面;三就是以分詞形式出現,現在分詞和過去分詞,還有不定式。現在分詞有主動語態和進行時的含義,而過去區分詞有被動語態和完成時的含義,不定式有將來時態的意義。例如:

a. In the museum there are a lot of interesting things look at.

b. I am looking forward to see you.

正確的句子:

a. In the museum there are a lot of interesting things to look at.

b. I am looking forward to seeing you.

分析:

a句中己有謂語動詞there are,用來修飾things,此句缺的是後置定語。b句look forwardto是一個固定短語,後面要接動名詞。c句要用現在分詞作定語,跟所修飾的名詞之間是主謂關係,表示動作正在進行,因此用“sleeping”,相當於 “thechild who is sleeping"。

一、英語議論文的結構一般較爲固定,通常包括以下三部分:

1. 在導語部分提出需要議論的議題;

2. 在正文部分對所提出的問題進行議論;

3. 在結論部分對以上的討論進行總結和歸納。

寫議論文要考慮論點,考慮用什麼作論據來證明,怎樣來論證,然後得出結論。它可以是先提出一個總論點,然後分別進行論述,分析各個分論點,最後得出結論;或者先引述一個故事,一段對話,或描寫一個場面,再一層一層地從事實中分析出道理,歸納引申出一個新的結論;也可以在文章開頭先提出一個人們關心的問題,然後一一作答,逐層深入;還可以把兩個不同事物以對立的方式提出來加以比較、對照,然後得出結論。

二、在具體寫作中要注意下列幾點:

1. 議題的提出要開門見山,不要拖泥帶水。

2.議論時可以採用不同的方法。如:可以擺出正反兩方面觀點,進行對比;也可引經據典論證作者自己觀點的正確性,從而使讀者接受自己的觀點;亦可提出一種錯誤的觀點然後論證其錯誤,最終提出正確的觀點。正文部分是寫作的重點,論證方法可用歸納法、推理法、比較法等。

3. 在結論部分必須表明作者的觀點,對討論的問題做出總結。

4. 注意連接詞和過渡詞等詞語的`使用,以增強文章的條理性和邏輯性。常用的過渡詞和連接詞包括:first, second, third,finally, in addition, furthermore, besides, what was worse, more importantly, incontrast, because, since, now that, therefore,consequently,in that case, as aresult/consequence, in conclusion, to sum up等等。

三、寫作技巧

議論文的寫作是一個創造性的完整過程。它大體上可以分爲攝取、構思、表達和修改四個階段。構思是把客體材料轉變爲作者主觀認識的轉化階段,表達是通過遣詞造句將作者的思想“物化爲文章”的實施階段,修改是最後完善提高文章的過程。在對這四個階段的具體運作過程中,一定要進行恰當地分析,提高自覺性。在具體的寫作過程中,要注意以下幾點:

1.把握三個要素,即論點、論據和論證。論點要新,要有鮮明的時代特徵,能體現時代脈搏。認識問題和分析問題時,應當褒揚新思想,鍼砭時弊,體現時代的精神風貌。同時要把握事物的本質特徵,揭示事物的發展規律,給人以厚重感。論據要爲論點服務,注重擺事實,講道理。在寫作時要充分利用事實論據和道理論據,靈活採用多種論證方法,如例證法、引證法、對比論證法、比喻論證法等讓文章更具說服力與雄辯性,讓讀者心服口服。

2.把握三性,即準確性、鮮明性和主動性。在寫作時要善於提出問題,主動地運用準確的論據和恰當的論證方法來分析問題,水到渠成地引出自己鮮明的觀點。

一、儘量運用主動語態。例如:

1、Weak: The organization has been supported by charity.
