Once I hope I can study in a college in future, however that’s passed, asyou know I come here, now I wonder what the future holds for (= what will happento) me. When I come to this school, I told to myself: this my near future, allstarts here. Following I will learn to become a man, a integrated man, who has afine body, can take on important task, has independent thought, an open mind, intensive thought, has the ability to judge right and wrong, has a perfectjob.

Once my teacher said :” you are not sewing, you are stylist; never forgetwhich you should lay out to people is your thought, not craft.” I will put mypersonality with my interest and ability into my study, during these process Iwill combine learning with doing.

One way to develop self-confidence is to do the thing you fear and to get arecord of successful experiences behind you.培養自信的一種方法是去做你害怕做的事情,並將它做成功。

英語勵志演講稿3

Good morning, everyone! I`m very happy to have this chance to give mypresentation. Before I start my speech, please let me ask you a question. Do youthink you are confident in yourself? If you are, do please raise your hand.

My topic today is “ to Be a Confident Person.”

What is confidence? Confidence is to trust yourself. Confidence is to lookupon yourself. It is not to indulge in self-admiration. It is not to getextremely arrogant. It is not to get dizzy with success or to be opinionated. Itis just to inspire yourself ahead of a quality of mind, in high spirit, full ofenergy. It is to meet the challenges of life in a positive mood. It is toovercome your inferiority, farewell, to get rid of the trouble of a a ready-madepanacea.

Remember, I have just entered junior high school. In the face of thechallenge of new environment, in the face of so many new courses and learningcontents, I lost faith in my own and gradually developed a psychological senseof inferiority. Achievement glided ceaselessly. It is a teacher and mother whoencouraged me and let me regain confidence. Gradually, my grades got higher andhigher and everything began to go on well. Gradually I adapted to the life inmiddle school.

Friends, let's say goodbye to inferiority. Let’s be a confident use: only if you have self-confidence, can you control yourself; only if youhave confidence, can you achieve success and create your a brilliant life ofyour own!

Whether there’s afterlife, the answer has never been the same. The atheistsdeny after life, believing that our life is no more than from the cradle to thegrave. They may care about their illustrious names after death; they may feelattached to the affection of their offspring, but they never lay their hopes ontheir afterlife. They may also say that good will be rewarded with good, andevil with evil, but they don’t really believe any retribution in their afterlife.

However, in the religious world or among the superstitious people, thebelief in afterlife is very popular. They do not only believe in afterlife, butthousands of reincarnations as well. In the mysterious world, there are theparadise and the hell, the celestial beings and the gods, the Buddha and theBodhisattvas.

Maybe they really believed it, or maybe they just wanted to make use ofpeople’s veneration, the ancient emperors always declared that they were thereal dragons, the sons of God, while the royal ministers claimed to be thereincarnations of various constellations. But can the stars reincarnate?

Many people burn incense and kowtow, do good deeds and strive for virtues, not just for the present, but mainly to let God see their sincerity so as to bereborn into a better afterlife, or to achieve the highest enlightenment afterseveral lives of practice. They do believe in afterlife. But I can’t helpasking: Suppose there were no afterlife, would you still do good deeds andstrive for virtues? And If God does not see what you are doing, would you stillbe so upright and selfless? If you work, not for serving the public andliberating the others, but just for a better afterlife of your own, isn’t it alittle too selfish? Comparing with this kind of believers, those who don’tbelieve in afterlife, but still keep doing good deeds, are the most sincere andhonest philanthropists, because they do them not for themselves but forother.

You may wonder if I believe in afterlife. My answer is: I know nothingabout my previous life, so I dare not make improper comments on afterlife. But Ido hope there’s afterlife! Because our present life is so short that so manythings slip away before our proper understanding. I have so many dreams, so manywishes, so many ambitions, as well as so many regrets and concerns. If therewere no afterlife, all of them will remain unrealized!

been mine but have been washed away by the hurrying time, and I yearn forthe perfection and maturity if I could start all over again. So believe it ornot, I’d rather there were afterlife.

英語勵志演講稿5

Someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of abook, whose pages are infinite”. I don’t know who wrote these words, but I’vealways liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it tobe. We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed ,we reapa good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.

We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. Toanswer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youthis not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It’s the matter of the will. It’s the freshness of thedeep spring of life.

A poet said “To see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wildflower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour. Severaldays ago, I had a chance to listen to a lecture. I learnt a lot there. I’d liketo share it with all of you. Let’s show our right palms. We can see three linesthat show how our er and life is. I have a short line of life. Whatabout yours? I wondered whether we could see our future in this way. Well, let’smake a fist. Where is our future? Where is our love, career, and life? , it is in our hands. It is held in ourselves.

We all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can gobetter itself. Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened. From thepast, we’ve learnt that the life is tough, but we are tougher. We’ve learnt thatwe can’t choose how we feel, but we can choose what about it. Failure doesn’tmean you don’t have it, it does mean you should do it in a different ure doesn’t mean you should give up, it does mean you must try harder.

As what I said at the beginning, “we are reading the first verse of thefirst chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. The past has gone. Nothingwe do will change it. But the future is in front of us. Believe that what wegive to the world, the world will give to us. And from today on, let’s be theowners of ourselves, and speak out “We are the world, we are the future.”
