因堵車怕錯過吉時 新人高速隧道辦婚禮

Few people would be happy to encounter a Traffic jam on the highway, and it would be all the more annoying if you were on the way to your own wedding.

很少有人在高速路上遇到交通堵塞後還能高興得起來，而如果你正在趕往自己婚禮的途中的話，那麼就更加令人惱火了。

However, one Chinese couple truly made the best of just such a situation when they held a special wedding ceremony inside a traffic tunnel in Ankang, Shaanxi province on Sept. 20.

但是9月20日，陝西省安康市一對中國夫婦卻完美地利用了這一窘境，在高速隧道里舉辦了一場特殊的婚禮。

The whole scenario was put into motion thanks to a traffic jam, which was caused by an accident that occurred at 10:31 a.m. roughly 100 meters from the exit of Ankang's Fenghuangshan Tunnel.

這一戲劇性的事件最終成爲現實要歸功於一次交通擁堵。當天上午10點31分，在距離安康鳳凰山隧道出口大約100米的地方發生了一起車禍，這起車禍導致了交通堵塞。

A truck hit a guardrail in the center of the road, which brought traffic to a complete standstill.

當時一輛卡車撞上了道路中心的護欄，從而導致了交通完全停滯。

The driver was injured, and the accident led to a severe traffic jam on the highway. Highway traffic police and a rescue team rushed to the scene to deal with the accident.

卡車司機受了傷，車禍導致高速路上嚴重交通堵塞。高速交警和一支救援隊立即趕赴現場，處理這起交通事故。

One hour later, nearly 100 vehicles were still trapped inside the tunnel. Fortunately for their drivers, an exciting distraction was about to begin.

一個小時過後，仍然有近100輛汽車被困在隧道中。但是這些被困司機們非常幸運，因爲一個令人激動的時刻即將開始。

Local customs dictate that wedding ceremonies be held before 12:00 p.m.

按照當地風俗，婚禮必須在中午12點之前舉行。

Therefore, when several cars on the way to a wedding got stuck in the tunnel - including that of the bride and groom - the couple decided to hold a simple ceremony in the tunnel instead.

因此，當包括新郎新娘乘坐的婚車在內的幾輛汽車被困在隧道中的時候，這對新人決定在隧道里舉行一個簡單的儀式。

Passersby were invited to witness the special event.

To ensure everyone's safety and minimize the impact on other vehicles, the ceremony was shortened to about 10 minutes.

"I do!" the newlyweds recited to each other.

“我願意！”這對新婚夫婦互相作出了愛的誓言。

Thanks to workers' rescue efforts, a lane was reopened to traffic by 12:10 p.m, at which point the couple was finally able to continue on toward their wedding venue. Traffic recovered completely by 2:20 p.m.

在救援工人們的努力之下，12點10分一條車道重新恢復了交通，這時這對新人終於可以繼續趕往他們的婚禮現場了。在下午2點20分，交通完全恢復。
