Sufferingsof people due to demonetisation don't seem to end any time soon. Thousands ofpeople across India these days are seen outside banks, struggling to get somemoney. Many of them have even postponed their marriage plans due to nonavailability of money. However, the rich and influential people in India appearto be least bothered and even less affected by the money rationing by thegovernment.

ataka's former minister, Gali Janardhan Reddy, spent a whopping Rs 500crore on his daughter’s marriage ceremony. The wedding was held at Bengaluru’sPalace Grounds, which was decorated as the famous Hampi city by Bollywood’s artdirectors.

Thefamilies were decked up in pricey attire and jewellery. Brahmani, the bride, worea Rs 17 crore sari and diamond jewellery worth Rs 98 crore. Around 50,000guests reportedly attended the wedding, including some taxmen, who werebelieved to have secretly audited the posh arrangements.
