酒桌上的畢業季 Drinking Culture Mars Farewell Party
Walking beside the Pearl River with classmates Jiang Hai suddenly threw up into the bushes.
姜海（音譯）和同學們走在珠江邊上，突然他扭頭向灌木叢中嘔吐不止。Patting his back, a friend joked: "It's good to clear out your stomach so that you can handle another party tonight."
一位朋友拍拍他的背，打趣說："清清腸胃挺好的，這樣你今晚就能Hold住下一個聚會了。"On the verge of graduation, binge drinking on campus is on the rise. Various farewell parties and commencement banquets are dominated by alcohol.
臨近畢業前夕，校園中狂歡豪飲的場面愈演愈烈。各式各樣的散夥飯以及畢業晚宴都被酒精主導着。
Experts say that the culture of drinking should be changed for the sake of both health and social etiquette.
專家稱，考慮到身體健康和社交禮節，我們應當改進酒文化。Jiang, 23, a management major at Guangzhou University, went to three farewell parties last week. He has a slight allergy to alcohol.
23歲姜海就讀於廣州大學管理學專業，上週他一共參加了三場散夥飯。而他本人對酒精有些過敏。"Every time I drink I throw up," said Jiang. "But how can I not drink when female students raise their glasses with me in front of a cheering crowd?"
姜海說："儘管我一喝就吐，但當女生們和我一同舉杯，周圍的人都在歡呼時，我怎能滴酒不沾呢？"According to Yao Xingchen, of the student service sector at Shenzhen University, the drinking culture is a negative traditional influence.
來自深圳大學學生服務處的姚星辰（音譯）表示，酒文化是一種容易造成負面影響的傳統。"Students assume that the amount one drinks defines how deep the friendship is, which is very misleading," said Yao. "It is a negative social influence."
姚星辰說："學生們認爲酒喝得多少代表友情的深厚；這是一種誤導，會對社會造成消極的影響。"From the perspective of Zhang Liwei, of the security department of Beijing Union University, drinking is now causing more disputes during the graduation season.
在北京聯合大學保衛處張立偉（音譯）的眼裏，畢業季飲酒所導致的糾紛事件愈來愈多。"Recently, almost every night we dealt with drunk students fighting or overly emotional behavior, both on and off campus," said Zhang.
張立偉稱："最近，我幾乎每晚都會處理一些校內外的學生醉酒打架或過激行爲。"Hu Tingting, 22, a math major at Hubei University, knows how tricky alcohol can be but in the name of friendship, hardly anyone would refuse another beer.
湖北大學數學專業學生、22歲的胡婷婷（音譯）儘管很清楚喝醉是多麼麻煩，但在友情的名義下，很少有人會拒絕再來一杯。"It has been a tradition," said Hu.
胡婷婷表示："這已經成爲一種傳統。"The average student will attend half a dozen parties with classmates, societies, faculties and hometown folks in the graduation season.
畢業期間，平均每個學生會參加6場聚會，聚會的對象有同學、社團成員、老師和老鄉。Wang Wenjun, 23, an education major at East China Normal University, gets annoyed at the high cost.
高昂的開銷使得現就讀於華東師範大學教育專業、23歲的王文軍（音譯）苦惱不已。"The average meal costs more than 50 yuan," said Wang. "Multiply that figure four or six times and it mounts up for students' on a limited budget."
王文軍說："平均每頓飯的開銷都超過50元。當這一數字乘以4或6後，高昂的花銷使得囊中羞澀的學生們望而卻步。"For Wu Guihua, of Wuhan University Hospital, health rather than money is the main issue.
來自武漢大學附屬醫院的吳桂華（音譯）則認爲，我們面臨的主要問題並非金錢開銷，而是身體健康。Alcohol poisoning is very harmful, especially to the liver and can pose long-term health risks to students.
酒精中毒危害性極強，對肝臟而言尤其如此，可能爲學生健康帶來長期的風險。"How can one have a good career without a healthy body?" said Wu. "Bear that in mind and we might see more self-control."
吳桂華說："一個人如果沒了健康的體魄，又如何能做好工作呢？將這點謹記於心，我們就可以更好地剋制自己了。"It turned out that Jiang drank himself into hospital the night he threw up beside the Pearl River. It was the third time in his four-year college career.
那晚姜海因醉酒在珠江邊嘔吐不止，後來被送入醫院。在他四年的大學生活中，這已經是第三次了。"Finally my friends promised me that I don't have to drink at future reunions," said Jiang.
姜海說："最終朋友們向我保證，以後的聚會上不會逼我喝酒了。"
