喬治
“喬治”一名和英國幾位國王相同。自從出生在德國的喬治一世、第一位大不列顛漢諾威國王在1714年加冕稱王開始，歷史上共有六位名爲“喬治”的英國國王。
喬治六世是英國曆史上最後一位名爲喬治的國王。實際上他的首名叫做艾伯特，家中人都稱他爲“伯蒂”。但當他繼位後確選用第四個名字“喬治”作爲國王稱謂。喬治六世是在位伊麗莎白女王敬愛的父親，剛剛出生的劍橋喬治王子的曾曾祖父。
王室寶寶的祖父威爾士親王的第四個名字也是喬治。甚至愛德華八世的七個名字裏也有喬治一詞。這個名字的意思是“農夫或土地勞作者”。在2011年英格蘭和威爾士最受歡迎的男孩名字中排名第12。
