一
圖表作文是高中英語作文中較常見的類型，要求學生通過圖中數據和提示內容寫一短文，屬於比較、對照類。也可根據提示寫爲議論文。通常我們採取三段式寫法：
第一段：描述圖表，得出結論。
第二段：緊扣主題，根據圖表比較分析原因，論證結論。
第三段：發表議論，提出自己的看法。

注意事項：
寫圖表作文，並不是單純的用語言文字把圖表裏的所有數字信息一一攤擺，逐條列出，而是利用這些數據，經常還得篩選，將該圖表所要說明的主要問題闡述清楚。就這個意義上說，圖表作文屬於說明文。如果圖表信息是用來論證某一觀點，則圖表作文屬於議論文。因此，圖表作文在結構處理和寫法上與說明文或議論文是相同的。它通常必須：
1.用一個主題句或引言段，綜述全圖表的中心信息(也就是考生在審閱圖表後形成的結論)。
2.列舉三組左右的相關數據來說明或證實主題句或引言段所提及的要點。
3.分析產生這一圖表結論的原因或聯想推測可能引起的後果。
