Perhaps said friend was really close to the location, or even at the location the entire time. Actually now that Sean thought about it, he did not even consider that option. He just expected himself to arrive at the location and would be waiting there. This actually turned out better, as Sean would not have to explain himself. The location of their dinner arrangement was at that private club with a large, golden sign outside the door saying “Members Only.” Sean was impressed by the fancy lobby last time as soon as he set foot in the establishment.
