1、“as+形容詞/副詞原級+as，if not+比較級+than”表示“就算不比……更……也和……一樣……”。
eg :Mary is as clever as ,if not cleverer than ,his sister .就算不比妹妹更聰明，瑪麗也和她一樣聰明。
2、“主語+系動詞”的省略
eg :Looking forward to your reply .(=I'm looking forward to your reply .)期待着你的回覆。
3、I wonder if you ...我想知道你是否……
4、it would be a good idea to do sth.做某事是個好主意。
5、I would appreciate it if ...如果……我將不勝感激。
6、have long done sth.早就想做某事了。
