從古至今，戀愛有3個階段。第一階段是“尋求戀情”，第二階段是“戀情帶來的興奮和激動”，第三階段是“戀情的終止”。既然戀愛是我們生活中的一個重要部分，當然有很多表示關於愛情的俚語。下面，我們就繼續來學習它們。
1. old lady
釋義： It means one's wife or female romantic partner. 譯爲：妻子或女性性伴侶。
例句：I promised my old lady I'd take her out for our anniversary. （我答應我妻子結婚週年紀念日那天，帶她出去慶祝慶祝。）
I'd better not stay for another drink, or my old lady will start to wonder where I am!（我最好不再留下來再喝了，否則我的妻子會開始想知道我在哪裏的。）
His old lady gets pretty jealous when he spends time with his female friends.（當他和其他女性朋友在一起的時候，他妻子妒忌心很強。）
2. my woman
釋義：It means my wife or B.F. 譯爲：我老婆，我女朋友。
例句：This is my woman. We've been dating for a year. （這是我女朋友，我約會一年了。）
My woman is fooling around probably right this minute.（我老婆這會兒卻說不定在哪兒鬼混哩。）
3. to be into someone
釋義：It means to love someone. 譯爲：愛戀上某人。
例句：John is really into you. I hear he calls you several times a day. （John真的愛上了你，我聽說他一天給你打好幾個電話。）
I'm not backing out, Byron, I am into you.（我並沒有反悔，Byron，我愛上了你。）
