I can't say... 不是……吧，我不能說……

這是當對某件事並不能確定的時候使用的表現形式，跟 I'm not sure 表示的是相同的意思。另外，I'd say 主語+動詞中的 I'd say 是 I would (could) say 的縮略形式，表示的雖然不能斷定，但是“也可以說”。也就是說表示的是“好像是”的意思。

例句：

I can't say who did that.
我不知道是誰做的。
I can't say for certain she'll recover completely.
我不能說她已經完全恢復過來了。
