Are you saying... ?你的意思是……嗎？

因爲對方的意想不到的話語或者是完全不可理喻的話語而慌張，想要再次進行確認的時候的表現形式。根據文意的不同，既可以表示驚訝，也可以表示厭煩。如果是使用固定的表現形式 What are you saying?的話，那麼表示的就是“那是什麼意思？”的意思。
