多麼美麗的清晨，大家好嗎？歡迎回到Faith口語課堂-天天學，我是Faith老師。喜歡在清晨散散步，做點戶外運動，然後就開始一天的工作，現在可是上課時間哦，你來了嗎？
首先講一個詞，“spend” 用錢, 花錢，度過，花時間等：
She would rather spend than save. 她有錢寧願花掉, 也不肯積蓄。
How do you spend your leisure? 你如何消磨空暇時間？
We spent a lot of time on this project. 我們在這個項目上花了不少時間。
下面，我們專門學一個特別專業的表達花時間的句型：It takes somebody …to do something
It took me 10 years to realize my mistake. 我花了10年時間才認識到我的錯誤。
It will take me half an hour to get to my office on foot. 我步行要花半個小時去公司。
How long will it take you to get to the hospital by taxi? 你坐出租車要花多長時間才能到達這個醫院？
It took me 2 days to review this budget proposal. 這個預算報告花了我兩天時間纔看完。
It takes me all my life to improve my oral English. 我用了整整一生來提高我的英語口語。
你也可以直接用“take”來表示花時間，如：
The flight took 2 hours. 這次航班要兩個小時。
The presentation took totally 30 minutes. 這個演示用了整整30分鐘。
