7月10日，浙江省高級法院與淘寶網合作開通的“司法拍賣平臺”完成“首拍”，兩輛涉訴車輛均以遠高出法院評估價成交。不過，中國拍賣協會副祕書長歐陽樹英7月11日卻表示，此次網拍違反了《拍賣法》有關司法拍賣的相關規定。

Ouyang Shuying, deputy secretary-general of the China Association of auctioneers, said on Thursday the online auctions violated laws and regulations on judicial sales, and warned that such activities could disturb the market order.
中國拍賣協會副祕書長歐陽樹英週四表示，此次網拍違反了司法拍賣的有關法律法規，並稱此舉會擾亂市場秩序。
上文中的judicial sale就是“司法拍賣”，也可用judicial/court auction來表示，指人民法院將查封、扣押、凍結的被執行人財產（sealed, seized and frozen assets of the defendant），在被執行人逾期不履行義務時，依法以公開競價的方式賣與出價最高的競買人，並用所得金額清償債務的執行行爲，是人民法院執行中的一種強制處分措施。
很多網民都認爲通過淘寶這樣的third-party platform（第三方平臺）進行司法拍賣能夠increase transparency（提高透明度）並且 prevent under-the-table operations（杜絕暗箱操作）；而歐陽樹英則指出Taobao is not a qualified auctioneer（淘寶不具備拍賣資質），這樣做會disturb the market order（擾亂市場秩序）。
