The First Recoverable Remote Sensing Satellite
On November 26, 1975, China launched a recoverable remote sensing satellite on a Long March launch vehicle. After three days of operation, the satellite returned as planned, making China becoming the 3rd country to have successfully developed satellite recoverable technology after the U. S and the former Soviet Union. Ever since then, information from the satellite has played a vital role in exploring resources, predicting disasters and mapping topography.
1975年11月26日，中國利用“長征號”火箭成功地發射了第一顆返回式遙感衛星。3天后，衛星按預定計劃返回地面。至此，中國成爲繼美國、蘇聯之後世界上第三個掌握衛星返回技術的國家。自那以後，從衛星上傳回的信息在中國資源調查、災害預測、地圖測繪研究方面扮演着至關重要的角色。
