報告顯示 越來越多的學生青睞海外讀研

The number of Chinese studying master's degrees overseas continues to increase, according to a report.

一份報告指出，出國讀研的中國留學生的數量在持續攀升。

Students who apply for master's degree or above overseas made up 68% of all students planning to study abroad, up 8 percentage points from 2017 and 11 percentage points from 2016, according to the Report on Chinese Students' Overseas Study released by New Oriental Vision Overseas and Kantar Millward Brown.

根據這份由新東方前途出國和凱度華通明略近日發佈的《中國留學生報告》顯示，計劃出國就讀碩士及以上學歷的學生佔所有計劃出國留學生的68%，佔比分別較2017年和2016年增加8個百分點和11個百分點。

The rise in the number of applicants for the master's degree or above overseas indicates an increasing number of students willing to obtain a higher academic degree to elevate their competitiveness, the report read.

報告稱，申請出國讀研或以上學歷的人數上升說明，想獲得更高學歷以提高自身競爭力的學生數量有所增加。

Students who apply for master's degree or above overseas accounted for 47 percent of all Chinese students already studying abroad, the report showed.

申請海外碩士及碩士以上學位的學生，佔中國所有已出國留學的學生總數的47%。

The interviewed students chose to study abroad for the purposes of expanding their horizons (64 percent), enriching life experience (64 percent), learning advanced knowledge (49 percent), and obtaining better jobs (44 percent).

受訪學生選擇出國留學的目的是擴大視野（64%）、豐富生活經驗（64%）、學習高級知識（49%）和獲得更好的工作（44%）。

The report was based on a survey of around 5,000 students who plan to go to school abroad or were previously overseas students, and their parents and some employers, in more than 40 cities across China in February and March.

該報告是基於一項約5000名留學生（計劃留學生和海歸、其父母及一些老闆）參與的調查而得出的。調查期在2月和3月，受調查者來自全國逾40座城市。
