《權遊》前傳要拍了!

After two years of developing ideas, the first "Game of Thrones" prequel series is officially happening. HBO announced Tuesday evening that it's "given a 10-episode, straight-to-series order" for "House of the Dragon" — a Targaryen-centric prequel set about 300 years before the events of "Game of Thrones."

在斟酌了兩年後，首部《權力的遊戲》前傳系列終於確定要拍了。週二（10月29日）晚間HBO宣佈已爲“龍家”預定了“10集連續劇”。這部以坦格利安家族爲中心的前傳劇的時間背景大概設定在《權遊》故事300年前。

The new show's cocreators are George R.R. Martin, author of "A Song of Ice and Fire" and the latest Westeros-based novel "Fire and Blood," and Ryan Condal.

《冰與火之歌》和《火與血》的作者喬治·R·R·馬丁和萊恩·康道爾將共同撰寫新劇的劇本。新書《火與血》的故事發生在維斯特洛大陸上。

Condal will serve as showrunner of "House of the Dragon" alongside Miguel Sapochnik — the famed "Game of Thrones" director who helmed "Hardhome," "Battle of the Bastards," and "The Winds of Winter" (three of the original show's most beloved episodes).

康道爾將和著名的《權力的遊戲》導演米格爾·薩普什尼克共同擔任“龍家”這部劇的製片人。薩普什尼克執導了《艱難堡》、《私生子之戰》和《凜冬的寒風》這幾集，這也是原劇最受喜愛的三集。

Sapochnik "will direct the pilot and additional episodes," according to HBO's press release.

HBO的新聞公告稱，薩普什尼克“將導演先導集和特別篇”。

"The 'Game of Thrones' universe is so rich with stories," HBO programming president Casey Bloys said in the announcement email. "We look forward to exploring the origins of House Targaryen and the earlier days of Westeros along with Miguel, Ryan and George."

The news comes on the same day outlets including Deadline and Entertainment Weekly reported that the first "Game of Thrones" prequel idea, set around the Long Night, was no longer moving forward.

就在HBO宣佈新劇計劃的同一天，Deadline網站和《娛樂週刊》等媒體報道稱，以長夜爲主題的第一個《權遊》前傳計劃已經取消。
