《唐頓莊園》製作人準備導演新劇,又是一部神劇?
Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes is working on a new period drama for ITV.
《唐頓莊園》製片人朱利安·費羅斯正在爲英國獨立電視臺製作一部新的歷史劇。Fellowes has been commissioned by the network to adapt his 2016 novel Belgravia, Deadline reported.
Deadline報道稱，費羅斯已接受網絡的委託，改編其2016年的小說《貝爾格萊維亞》。Belgravia, which was originally published in a serialised format online, is set in London in the 1840s.
《貝爾格萊維亞》最初以連載形式在線出版，故事發生在19世紀40年代的倫敦。
Carnival Films, the same company that co-produced Downton Abbey, is producing the new show, according to Deadline.
據Deadline報道，嘉年華影業公司將會製作這部新劇，這家公司曾經聯合制作一航英劇《唐頓莊園》。Downton Abbey originally aired on ITV between 2010 and 2015.
《唐頓莊園》最初於2010年至2015年在英國獨立電視臺播出。
Production on the new series is reportedly set to start in the coming months, and the show is slated for a six-part run.
據報道，新劇的製作將在接下來的幾個月開始，預計會分爲六集。Fellowes described it as such in a previous interview with The Independent: ”You tune in and you see the real house, you meet the characters, and it says something like ‘Waterloo’ and you press Waterloo and you get ‘Waterloo was a battle fought on the 18 June 1815...’
費羅斯在之前接受《獨立報》採訪時是這樣描述的:“你打開電視，就能看到真正的房子，你能看到角色，它說的是‘滑鐵盧’之類的話，你按下‘滑鐵盧’鍵，就會知道‘滑鐵盧是1815年6月18日的一場戰役……“Fellowes has also written the screenplay for the upcoming Downton Abbey film, set to be released in September 2019.
費羅斯還爲即將於2019年9月上映的《唐頓莊園》電影撰寫了劇本。
