克林頓蒙古講話強調民主對經濟發展的作用

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is in Mongolia on an Asian tour aimed at promoting democracy and greater U.S. economic presence in the region.

Clinton on Monday addressed the International Women's Leadership forum being held in the capital, Ulaanbaatar.

She emphasized the benefits and importance of democracy for economic growth, stressing that one without the other cannot last.

Clinton also held talks with President Tsakhia Elbegdorj.

Clinton will also make stops in Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam this week before leaving the region.美國國務卿克林頓正在蒙古訪問。她此次亞洲之行是爲了推動民主以及擴大美國在這一地區的經濟活動。
