Long, long ago, there was a king. Solomon was his name. He was very clever.

這天，雖然再沒聽到第二聲獅吼，但白白卻不敢離窩半步，餓着肚子過了一天。第二天一大早，白白就鑽進了一片蘿蔔地。剛把蘿蔔挖出來，就被一條大黃狗給撲倒在地。白白使出吃奶勁才從大黃狗嘴裏逃脫。但從那以後，只要一聽到狗叫，白白兩腿就發軟。
不知過了多少天，白白只靠吃窩附近的一些山菜草根充飢。白白感覺自己的身體在逐漸縮小。幾乎沒有山貓大了。
白白下決心：明天無論遇到什麼，也一定要找到填飽肚子的食物。
第二天，白白在林子裏轉了半天，也沒填飽肚子。忽然，聽到一聲槍響，一隻碩大的飛鳥從半空中墜落。嚇的白白渾身只打哆嗦。
等它回過神來想逃回窩時，發現自己已沒多大力氣跑了。最終，白白成了天空中盤旋的一隻老鷹的美食。
