提起KPI，小伙伴们应该不太陌生吧。KPI的英文全称是Key Performance Indicator，即关键业绩指标，又称主要绩效指标。现如今各企业都比较看重组织内部和各部门人员的KPI情况，会实施KPI考核。

KPI考核（Key Performance Indicators）也称关键绩效指标考核法，这是一种管理思想（management theory），一种人才激励策略（strategy for talent motivation），还是一种绩效监控手段（means of performance monitoring）。

在商务英语里，performance还有其他常见短语，如high performance高性能，高效能的、business performance企业绩效，经营绩效、performance management 绩效管理、outstanding performance出色表现，杰出的表现、overall performance整体性能，总指标、performance index 业绩指标。

我们来看2个例句：

Engineering improvements could eventually boost its performance.

工程改进最终可能会提高其性能。

The poor performance has been blamed on the recession and cheaper sports car imports.

业绩惨淡归咎于经济衰退和更便宜跑车的进口。
