Buzzkill 掃興
-How was the movie? 電影怎麼樣啊？
-Fantastic. But my boyfriend stood me up. He said he had to work overtime.
很好啊。但是我男朋友放我鴿子了。他說他今天得加班。
-Awe. What a buzzkill! Awe。這麼掃興啊！
-It's OK. That's just him. He is a workaholic.
沒事啦，他就那樣。他是個工作狂。
Bummer
A bummer is bad news, or something that makes you upset.
Bummer就是壞消息，或者讓你心煩的東西。
在口語裏，如果你遇到了讓你掃興的事情，就可以說 Bummer ！
-Hey Melissa! What are you up to tomorrow? I am going to throw a party and I hope you can come.
Hey Melissa! 你明天有空嗎？我準備辦一場派對，想讓你一起來。
