今天，我們會學習堅持某事的英語表達法，在學之前，先來看一個和堅持相關的詞：stubborn，頑固的；固執的
He is a stubborn child. 他是個固執的孩子。
Facts are stubborn. 事實是不可否認的。
Persevere: vi. 堅忍，堅持一直做某事，不屈不撓，persevere in something/doing something
Although he is in poor health, he still perseveres in his studies. 儘管他身體不好，他仍孜孜不倦地學習。
They are determined to persevere in the fighting against corruption. 他們誓將反腐進行到底。
那麼，Persevere的名詞形式是：perseverance
He's a man having powers of endurance and perseverance. 他是個有耐力和毅力的人。
下面，我們來介紹：insist on something/doing something 堅持要做某事；強調某事
He insisted on his demand. 他堅持他的要求。
He insists on discipline in the classroom. 他一貫強調課堂紀律。
She insisted on leaving at once. 她堅持立刻就走。
The teacher insisted on all the homework being handed in on Monday. 老師堅持要求所有作業都要在星期一交上來。
But for the moment, I'm afraid we must insist on our usual payment terms. 目前，我恐怕還得堅持我們慣用的付款方式。
