首先，來介紹一個形容詞：indecisive：adj. 猶豫不決的，優柔寡斷的，非決定性的：

He's too indecisive to make a good leader. 他優柔寡斷，當不了好領導。

She was an indecisive sort of person. 她以前是個優柔寡斷的人。

Don't be indecisive on the road of friendship. 在友誼路上切莫躊躇。

Decisive: adj. 決定性的，果斷的

Be decisive, tell them exactly what you think should be done. 果斷些，確切地告訴他們你認爲應該怎麼做。

The report brought about a decisive change in the whole policy. 這個報告使整個方針發生了決定性的變化。

當你對某人很生氣，憤怒的時候你會煽他的耳光嗎？我曾經試圖煽過一次，沒煽着。今天，我們來用語言煽煽某人耳光：slap someone in the face，slap是個動詞，“拍擊”的意思。

This morning, one guy slaps the other guy in the face. 今早，一個男生煽了另一個男生耳光。

slap up：倉促做(飯)

Can you slap up a quick meal for my friend before we rush to the game? 你能在我跟朋友們趕去看比賽之前給我們草草湊合一頓飯嗎？

Slap: n. 侮辱，摑，拍擊聲

She fetched him a terrific slap in the face. 她狠狠地給了他一記耳光。

Slap: adv. 直接地，正面地，突然

The car ran slap into the shop window. 汽車猛地撞入商店的櫥窗。
