美國習慣用語 第800:紅火起來

前些日子，我家的小貓不知道怎麼了，每天打蔫兒，也不吃東西。我帶它去看獸醫，醫生也說不出個所以然，吃藥也不見好。誰知道，過了一段時間，小貓的精神頭又回來了，現在它已經和原來一樣，吃得多睡得香，上竄下跳可淘氣了。它現在的樣子讓我想到一個習慣用語，那就是：alive and kicking。

Alive的意思是“活的”，kicking則是“踢”，alive and kicking的意思是“十分健康，生機勃勃”。

我的貓就是這樣，其實它的貓齡也不小了，很多貓到這個年紀都變成了天天睡覺的老貓，但幸運的是，my cat is alive and kicking, 我的貓還是那麼健康活潑!
