雅思聽力地圖題題型介紹
地圖題的特點：
如果在地圖中出現了方向座標，在聽力原文中一定會出現表示方向的詞彙，如east, south, west, north; 如果地圖中沒有出現方向座標，那麼在雅思聽力中會聽到表示左右的詞彙right 或者left，應注意地圖上出現的任何信息，包括指向標以及文字說明，這些信息都是突破地圖題的關鍵。
地圖題類型：

做地圖題時，應先認真看題以便處有價值的信息，把圖形轉換成相應的文字，從而有效地預測出可能會出現的答案及其類型，如在地圖題中經常會考察到建築物的形狀等修飾詞，當大家看到地圖上建築物所表示的形狀時，就應立即想到表示該建築物形狀的詞彙。
在地圖題中，應先看圖，看圖應遵循先看路名，再看建築名，且應遵循一定的方向，按照從上到下或者從左到右的順序;其次，找到地圖中的指向標;接下來，要閱讀地圖上的說明文字;後，應找到起始點。起始點在做地圖題中尤爲重要，路線圖一般標有entrance, exit, door, gate等詞表示話語起始點，如果圖中沒有給出明確的起始點，在聽錄音時先確定起始點，說話人也是肯定會先給出起始點。

表示下面的詞彙： bottom, base, basin, beneath, lower, below
表示頂點的詞彙： peak, summit, tip, apex, point
中心： core, heart, center, middle, mid-central
前後左右： in front of, in the front of, back, rear, end, behind, after, left, right, to the extreme right side, the far left/right, the upper/lower left/right, the middle left/right
旁邊：beside, next to, adjacent to, near
拐角處：in the corner of, on the corner of, at the corner of, in the far left/right corner, sharp corner
in the corner 、on the corner 和at the corner
補充： 三個詞均爲“在……角”。in the corner 爲“在……角里”;on the corner爲“在……角上”“在……拐角上”; at the corner爲“在……角邊”。
例如：The bank is on (at) the corner. 銀行就在拐角上。
In the corner of the office stands a desk, on the corner of which lies a bag.
在辦公室的角落有一張桌子，在桌角上放着一個口袋。
corner作“拐角”解，與之搭配的介詞，美國英語多用on，英國英語通常用at;corner作角(即180o以內的角)解時與之搭配的介詞用in，在……內部的“角”，習慣上用in the corner of….
例如：誤：The girl sat at the corner in the classroom
正：The girl sat in the corner in the classroom.
