朝鮮氫彈試驗後,中韓代表會面商談半島局勢

The North's nuclear test last Wednesday angered both China and the United States and again raised questions about what can be done to stop its development of nuclear weapons.

上週三，朝鮮的核試驗激怒了中國和美國，同時如何阻止朝鮮發展核武器的問題又顯現出來。

Senior defence officials of South Korea and China will meet in Seoul in an annual forum and discuss a joint response to the test, the South Korean news agency reported. A South Korean Defence Ministry official could not immediately confirm the report.

韓國新聞媒體報道，中國和韓國的高級國防官員將在首爾的年度論壇中會面，共同討論聯合應對朝鮮核試驗。但是一名韓國國防部的官員沒有直接確認該報道。

North Korea said last week that it successfully tested a hydrogen bomb, but the United States and experts questioned the claim saying the recorded blast was too small for it to have been such a device.

上週，朝鮮宣佈成功試驗氫彈，但美國方面和一些專家質疑該聲明，稱檢測到的爆炸威力對於氫彈來說實在是太小了。

South Korean President Park Geun Hye called on China on Wednesday to use its influence over North Korea to press it to end its nuclear programme, adding it could use its permanent seat on the UN Security Council to help draw up effective sanctions.

週三，韓國總統朴槿惠呼籲中國利用在朝鮮的影響力停止其核計劃，同時還稱，中國要利用其聯合國安理會常任理事國的身份幫助通過有效的制裁措施。

"I believe the Chinese government will not allow the situation on the Korean peninsula to deteriorate further," Ms Park told a news conference.

朴槿惠在新聞發佈會上稱：“我認爲中國政府不會允許朝鮮半島的形勢繼續惡化。”

The US special envoy for North Korea, Mr Sung Kim, met his South Korean and Japanese counterparts in Seoul on Wednesday and said they had agreed that a "meaningful" new sanctions resolution was needed from the Security Council. "I hope the Chinese authorities agree with us that we simply cannot take a business as usual approach to this latest provocation," he said.

週三，美國朝鮮問題特使金成與駐韓國和日本的同事舉行會談，稱他們就安理會的需要和目的達成了新的制裁協議。金成說道：“我希望中國政府能夠支持我們的議案，不能對此次挑釁善罷甘休。”
