朝鮮宣佈成功試驗首枚氫彈後續報道

North Korea has successfully tested a hydrogen bomb, according to the country’s official Korean Central News Agency.

據朝鮮官方通訊社朝中社(Korean Central News Agency)報道，朝鮮成功試驗了一枚氫彈。

If confirmed this would be the country’s fourth nuclear test and its first hydrogen bomb.

如果該消息得到證實，這將是朝鮮進行的第四次核試驗，同時也是朝鮮試驗的第一枚氫彈。

Earlier on Wednesday a tremor was detected near one of North Korea’s nuclear test sites. The China Earthquake Networks Center in Beijing described an event as a “suspected explosion.”

週三早些時候，外界監測到朝鮮一核試驗基地附近發生了一次地震。位於北京的中國地震臺網中心稱，此次地震爲一次“疑爆”。

Market response was relatively subduded.

市場對此反應相對剋制。

Of note, shares in Victek, a South Korea-listed military electronics manufacturer, rose as much as 30 per cent, following initial reports of a “man-made earthquake” in North Korea.

值得注意的是，朝鮮發生“人爲地震”的初步報道發表後，韓國上市軍用電子產品製造商Victek的股價一度攀升了30%。

South Korea’s Kospi Composite was down 0.6 per cent.

Elsewhere, currency markets were relatively calm. The Korean won remained 0.5 per cent weaker at Krw1,194.63 per dollar, while the Japanese yen was 0.3 per cent stronger at Y118.64 per dollar.

外匯市場相對平靜。韓元兌美元匯率跌至1美元兌1194.63韓元，跌幅仍爲0.5%。日元兌美元匯率上升了0.3%，至1美元兌118.64日元。

Gold, historically viewed as a haven asset, was 0.1 per cent higher to $1,078.75 an ounce, while the dollar index, a measure of the US currency against a basket of global peers, was 0.1 per cent weaker at 99.29.

North Korea’s last nuclear test was in 2013; last month, leader Kim Jong Un claimed for the first time that Pyongyang had developed a hydrogen bomb, in defiance of UN sanctions, drawing a sceptical response from analysts.

朝鮮上次進行核試驗是在2013年。上個月，朝鮮領導人金正恩(Kim Jong Un)首次宣稱，平壤方面頂住聯合國制裁的壓力研製出一枚氫彈。分析人士對此則持懷疑態度。

A month ago Mr Kim was reported as saying: Today our nation has succeeded in becoming a mighty nuclear state, which can resound with the roar of nuclear and hydrogen bombs that can strongly guard the nation’s sovereignty and the people’s dignity.
