朝鮮週三凌晨發射又一枚彈道導彈

North Korea is believed to have fired off a ballistic missile in the early hours of Wednesday morning, ratcheting up tensions between Pyongyang and Washington.

朝鮮據信在週三凌晨發射了一枚彈道導彈，使平壤方面與華盛頓方面的緊張關係進一步加劇。

The Pentagon confirmed on Tuesday that it was “probable” North Korea had fired a ballistic missile at around 1:30pm Washington time, but that it was still assessing the launch.

五角大樓證實，朝鮮“很可能”在華盛頓時間週二下午1時30分左右發射了一枚彈道導彈，但其仍在對此次發射進行評估。

A State Department official said the agency was “aware of reports of a North Korean missile launch” and that it would be providing additional information when it became available.

美國國務院一名官員表示，其“知道有關朝鮮發射導彈的報道”，將在掌握更多情況後提供進一步信息。

The launch was first reported by Yonhap news agency and subsequently confirmed by South Korea’s Joint chiefs of staff.

韓國聯合通訊社(Yonhap)率先報道了此次發射，隨後韓國參謀長聯席會議(Joint Chiefs of Staff)證實了這件事。
