中澳自貿協定今日簽訂

China and Australia have signed the long-awaited free trade agreement (FTA) in Canberra on Wednesday afternoon.

中國和澳大利亞當地時間17日下午在堪培拉簽訂了期待已久的《中澳自由貿易協定》。

In a ceremony at the Australian National Gallery, Australian Trade Minister Andrew Robb and visiting Chinese Commerce Minister Gao Hucheng officially signed the deal, which frees up trade between the two countries.

澳大利亞貿易部長安德魯·羅伯與到訪的中國商務部長高虎城在澳大利亞國家藝術館舉行的儀式上正式簽署了這一自貿協定，使兩國貿易自由化。

The agreement will ensure 85% of all Australian exports will enter China tariff-free, rising to 95% when it is in full force.

中澳自貿協定給予85%澳大利亞出口中國的商品零關稅，協定全面生效後，這一比率可高達95%。

Australia will remove the existing 5% tariff on Chinese electronics and white goods, meaning cheaper goods for Australian consumers.

澳大利亞也將免除當前進口中國電子產品和白色家電的5%關稅，這意味着澳洲民衆將可享受更加廉價的"中國製造"。
