杭州保姆縱火案放火者莫煥晶被執行死刑

Mo Huanjing, a nanny who set a fire causing the death of a mother and three children, was executed last Friday morning, according to the People's Procuratorate of Zhejiang.

浙江省人民檢察院近日宣佈，縱火致一名母親和三名孩子死亡的保姆莫煥晶，於上週五上午被執行了死刑。

Mo deliberately set the fire in an upscale apartment in Hangzhou on June 22, 2017.

2017年6月22日，莫煥晶故意在杭州的一個高檔公寓內縱火。

She planned to put it out to gain favor from her employer Zhu Xiaozhen with the hope she would help repay her gambling debts.

她本打算把火撲滅，以博得自己的僱主朱小貞的感激，幫助她償還賭債。

Instead, the fire spread too quickly, prompting her to flee the apartment. Zhu and her three children, aged 6 to 11, died in the blaze.

但是火勢蔓延得很快，迫使她逃離了該公寓。而朱小貞和她那三個年齡在6歲至11歲的孩子卻不幸在大火中喪生。

Mo Huanjing was convicted and sentenced to death in early February. Her appeal was rejected by the Zhejiang Provincial Higher People's Court in June.

莫煥晶於二月初被定罪，並被判處了死刑。她的上訴於六月份被浙江省高級人民法院駁回。

Mo's execution was approved by the Supreme People's Court and was conducted under the supervision of prosecutors.

經最高人民法院批准，在檢察機關的監督下，莫煥晶被執行了死刑。
