上海將在公租房全面推廣'人臉與指紋識別'

Shanghai plans to adopt face-scanning and fingerprint identification technology in all its public rental housing programs to enhance management and prevent abuse.

爲加強管理，防止違規行爲，上海市計劃在其所有的公租房項目中引入人臉掃描和指紋識別技術。

With house prices soaring, the government has rolled out public housing for low income families in cities. But some renters sublet the housing unit or allow others to live there once they rent it.

隨着房價的猛漲，政府爲城市中的低收入家庭提供了公租房。但一些租戶卻將房子轉租給別人，或是租到手後轉借給別人住。

Pudong District in Shanghai has piloted intelligent management of its public housing project Renwen Apartments by using face scanning for door access.

上海浦東新區公租房“仁文公寓”項目已經試點智能化管理，推出以人臉識別門禁系統。

When the method does not work well on rainy days or in dim light, tenants can scan their fingerprints instead.

當該系統在陰雨天氣或者燈光昏暗的情況下不能夠很好的工作時，租客則可通過指紋識別進入。

The Shanghai Municipal Commission of Construction and Urban-Rural Development said in its 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-2020) that new access methods would be applied comprehensively in all public rental housing projects.

上海市住房和城鄉建設管理委員會表示，在“十三五”期間（2016年到2020年），將在所有公租房項目全面推廣這項新的智能化管理手段。
