兩彈一星元勳中國工程院原院長朱光亞逝世 享年87歲
新華網北京2月26日電 中國共產黨的優秀黨員，忠誠的共產主義戰士，傑出的科學家，我國核科學事業的主要開拓者之一，中國科學院、中國工程院資深院士，中國科學技術協會名譽主席、原主席，中國工程院原院長、黨組書記，中國人民政治協商會議第八屆、九屆全國委員會副主席朱光亞同志，因病於2011年2月26日10時30分在北京逝世，享年87歲。

Zhu Guangya (Chinese: 朱光亞; December 25, 1924 - February 26, 2011) is a renowned nuclear physicist of China, and an academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He served as the vice chairman of 8th and 9th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
Zhu attended National Central University (Nanjing University) in 1941 and graduated from department of physics of National Southwestern Associated University in 1945,, and obtained a doctorate degree in physics at University of Michigan in the United States. He returned to China in spring of 1950. After 1957, he was involved in research of nuclear reactor. Together with Deng Jiaxian and others, Zhu led the development of atomic bomb and hydrogen bomb of China.
In 1994 when Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) was founded, he served as the first president. In 1999, he received an achievement medal in recognition of his contribution to China's "Two Bombs, One Satellite" projects.
Zhu was an alternate member of 9th and 10th Central Committees of the Communist Party of China, and a full member of 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th Central Committees of CPC.
朱光亞（1924年12月25日－2011年2月26日），湖北武漢人，核物理學家，中國科學院學部委員、中國工程院院長，兩彈一星功勳獎章獲得者。曾任第八、九屆全國政協副主席、中共第九、十屆中央候補委員，第十一、十二、十三、十四屆中央委員。
1941年考入國立中央大學（南京大學）物理系，1942年夏轉入西南聯合大學物理系，1945年畢業。獲美國密執安大學物理學博士學位後於1950年春回國。回國後，朱光亞擔任北京大學物理系副教授。1953年1月，全國院校調整，調往東北人民大學(現吉林大學)任教授。1956年，參與籌建近代物理研究室(1957年劃歸北京大學)，擔負起爲中國培養第一批原子能專業人才的重任。 1957年後從事核反應堆的研究工作，與鄧稼先等負責並領導中國原子彈、氫彈的研製工作。1994年被增補為第八屆全國政協副主席，同年中國工程院成立，朱光亞出任工程院首任院長。1998年3月當選為第九屆全國政協副主席，1999年獲“兩彈一星功勳獎章”。
