趵突泉保持噴涌13年 濟南建成全國首個水生態文明城市
A joint motion was passed in Jinan, Shandong province by the Ministry of Water Resources and the Shandong provincial government on Nov. 7, making Jinan the country's first "water civilization city".
11月7日，山東省濟南市通過了水利部和山東省政府的聯合驗收，成爲全國首個“水生態文明城市”。The Ministry of Water Resources has also arranged for other cities to learn from Jinan, yielding 105 such water civilization pilot cities by 2020.
水利部還安排其他城市向濟南學習，以實現到2020年有105個這樣的水生態文明試點城市。In October 2012, Jinan was chosen as the first pilot city for the project. The revival of historic springs is the most direct reflection of the continuous improvement.

For example, Baotu Spring, a culturally significant spring in Jinan, has flowed for 13 years.

Although Jinan has a reputation as a famous "spring city," it gradually came to lack water resources just like many other cities.
