如何防止衣服褪色
To prevent colours in household linen from running and staining other linen when washed together, coloured things should first be steeped in a solution of salt water. A double handful of salt to a gallon of water is a good propotion, and coloured things should be left to soak in this for about twenty-four hours.
家用亞麻布質料的衣服在清洗的時候容易褪色，還會給其他亞麻布衣服染色，爲了避免這一情況，應該先把色彩鮮豔的衣服浸泡在鹽水裏。兩把鹽，一加侖水的比例比較合適。將色彩鮮豔的衣服在鹽水裏泡大約24小時就可以了。
